Electrical Engineer II
Merrick & Company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer II for our Greenwood Village (Denver Metro), CO office.
Engineer will design solutions for a variety of complex technical problems in the electrical engineering discipline. Design involves electrical distribution in facility/industrial complex utilizing 15kV medium voltage incoming source and building distribution through 208V. Leading design efforts in: lighting, lighting control, unit substations, motor control centers, switchgears, switchboards, panelboards, automatic transfer switches, uninterruptable power supplies, diesel power generation, lightning protection, cathodic protection, and grounding, overcurrent protection, selective coordination, coordinated power system protection, fire alarm, intrusion detection, telecommunication, CATV, and ESS.
Engineer will independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge to evaluate, select, and apply procedures and criteria to perform tasks and sequences of tasks. Engineer will lead other discipline engineers, project managers, and stakeholders. Engineer will lead in team meetings, prepare reports, calculations, and presentations utilizing extensive research and organized documentation as basis.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to: computers, phones, copiers, plotters, and scanners.
