    Job Description

    The document control clerk will be managing the receipt, processing and return of documents for the energy group and will be located at our client site in Borger, Texas. This position will be responsible for the recording of dates, drawing numbers, revisions, status, and comments into a project database to track and manage the orderly processing of these documents. The position requires tracking progress on the review of the documents. This includes interacting with the engineering team to assure packages are reviewed in a timely manner. Once reviewed, the status is entered into the database and the package is forwarded on for return to the appropriate parties. Attention to detail is essential to the success of this position. The database is based on MS Access. Familiarity with the creation of queries, forms and reports desired.


    Scope/Key Responsibilities

    • Logging in of vendor and company drawings and documents.
    • Developing and issuing of project document status reports
    • Develop queries and reports in MS Access
    • Tracking of review packages in the engineering group.
    • Follow quality assurance / quality control procedures.
    • Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality


    Required Experience

    • Able to read, write and effectively communicate in an office environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required
    • Proficiency with Document Management software - Newforma, SharePoint, Procore preferred.
    • Prefer candidate with a strong interest in the design of energy production equipment and systems, including design documents and drawings.

    • The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation as well as filing and document storage.
    • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Some lifting of boxes and files will be required.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to: computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
