Process & Piping Designer
We are building a large Process team for a new long term project and are seeking an experienced piping designer with a minimum of four (4) years of experience as a piping designer to join our Los Alamos, NM office.
This position is located in Los Alamos, a small community located in the scenic high desert of Northern New Mexico. Los Alamos offers access to a wealth of outdoor activities, a family-friendly community, an excellent public school system and a low crime rate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing custom solutions, mentoring a team and the outdoor lifestyle of Northern New Mexico.
This person is responsible for the system designs of glovebox utility systems piping installations. Responsibilities include generation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), preparation of 3D modeling of equipment and piping systems, development of detailed isometric drawings from the 3D model, and equipment location drawings. The designer will utilize Autodesk Revit and CADWorx P&ID to develop engineering drawings. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, the designer will be responsible for generating designs to meet exacting technical standards.
